do and be who you want to be

How it works

People often define themselves by what they do and what they don’t do. They have roles and activities, and in some of these they may be functioning better than others. As an occupational therapist, I focus on what’s important to you – these roles and activities. For example, I focus on how you are doing with day to day activities: making meals, sleeping, working, socializing, and doing hobbies. I help you by finding factors impacting your life while considering your personal abilities and environment. Together we will connect the dots, through counselling and self-management strategies. The outcome is you engaging in what is important to you to improve your wellness and enjoy this beautiful, bumpy life.

It takes a lot of strength to book the first appointment. Just thinking about it is a great step. I think you can make the next step and book.

Listening Ear

During a session, I will listen and help you become aware of yourself and your next steps

Treatment Approaches

Use treatment approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy, and behavioural activation
