About Alina Zander

I am a licensed Occupational Therapist and regulated by Saskatchewan College of Occupational Therapists.  I am a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and participate in Private Practice and Mental Health and Substance Use Networks.

I have a Master’s of Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology.  My education provides me with a strong understanding of psychology and cognition.  I have specialized in courses such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, Motivation, Counselling Psychologies, Cognitive Psychology, Groups, Psychology of Aging, Child Psychology, Perception, Genetics, Social Problems, and Advanced Research Methods.

I graduated as an occupational therapist in 2016.  I worked with the Saskatchewan Health Authority until 2024 and recently began at an addictions treatment centre casually.  I am so honored to get to know people and help them with whatever is going on in their lives.

Mental Health

Personally, I am passionate about mental health and cognitive functioning.  It has been a dream of mine to connect with individuals’ minds for a long time, and I am grateful for the opportunity.
